Meanwhile, the juvenile has been arrested and charged with murder.

In a media statement,  police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga said Lyson Phiri aged 70 has been warned and cautioned for the offence of  failing to secure a fire arm Contrary to Section 38 (1) of CAP 110 of the laws of Zambia.

Mr Hamoonga further Mr Phiri juvenile’s son has also been arrested and charged with murder.

“Police have formerly charged and arrested the male Juvenile aged 18 for Murder Contrary to Section 200 of CAP 87 of the laws of Zambia,” he said.

Last, the juvenile shot dead his 39 year old sister who was at the time seated in the living room.
