Two young men are in custody at Kawale Police Station for possessing, uttering and forging currency.
Kawale Police spokesperson Mabvuto Phiri has identified the suspects as Yunus Amidu, 24 and Ulemu Nkhonjera, 28.
He said Area 23 Police Unit had received a complaint from Paul Tembo on October 8,2021 which resulted in the arrest of Amidu, who later revealed the source and producers of the fake money.
They had K20,000 of the fake money.
The suspects will appear in court soon.
