A medical examination on mental health status of a 40-year-old-man, Patrick Gome who on Sunday allegedly bit a nine-months-old baby girl at Ben Chimseu Village in Ntcheu shows he is mentally stable.
He was taken to Ntcheu District Hospital by Police yesterday following the incident for medics to examine his mental health status.
Ntcheu Police spokesperson, Rabecca Kwisongole, however, says this morning the suspect will again be taken to the same hospital for rabies test.
Police expect to charge Gome with acts intended to cause grievous harm.
