The President of Malawi, Dr Lazarus Chakwera attended the COP26 Africa Adaptation Acceleration Summit in Glasgow Scotland.

The meeting highlighted that Africa Sep Glasgow ends on global action and firm resource commitments to support its climate adaptation programmes.

The Africa Adaptation Summit is an opportunity for the continent’s Heads of State and Government to outline how they will play their part to build resilience across the region.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for the leaders to outline the commitments made and actions required by global partners for a sustainable future.

President Chakwera alongside other 19 African Presidents attended the meeting.
