This comes after some disgruntled people who are believed to be Muslims from Makanjira in Mangochi, torched a church and vandalized a pastor’s house, after being angered by his teachings.

It is alleged that the pastor of Emmanuel International Church was conducting theological lessons to followers and in the process made an illustration mocking the Islamic faith.

Commenting on the issue, Spokesperson for the Muslim Association of Malawi, Dinala Chabulika, condemns the incident, insisting that it was avoidable.
