Yesterday social media awash with reports that a 28 year old woman Tiyamike Donda had gone missing and her family appealed to Malawians of good will to help them with information of her whereabouts.

According to reports, she left home on Wednesday morning using a public transport and she did not return home till Thursday hence her family declaring her as a missing person.

In the wee hours of today, Friday, November 5, 2021 news broke out that she has been found in Blantyre, but what really happened?

According to information at hand, Ms. Donda had a misunderstanding with her parents, out of anger she left home and switched of her phone.

The parents tried reaching out to her but they failed hence got scared and declared her as a missing person, they later reported to police and asked the general public to help them look for her.

There is also another report which claims that Ms. Donda who lives in area 25, board a public transport and in no time she blacked out and woke up in Blantyre.

When asked of what happened, she could not give collection of the supposed events that might have happened to her in the course of her no whereabouts.

However, this publication cannot confirm each statement at the moment.

Meanwhile, police in conjunction with the Ministry of homeland security are working on releasing a statement on the cases of kidnappings and abductions.
