The vice president of Malawi, Dr Saulos Chilima is expected to leave this morning for Dubai, United Arab Emirates, UAE, via Chileka airport, to attend the 2020 World-Expo ahead of the Malawi day, on November, 20.
According to the Press Secretary in the office of the Vice president, Pilirani Phiri, “The climax of the Expo will be the Malawi National Day on November 20, 2021 during which Malawian products, cultural assets and innovations will be displayed to potential investors”.
The 2020 World Expo in Dubai opened on October 1, 2021 and will run up to 31st March, 2022, after it was initially cancelled due to the global Covid-19 pandemic.
The vice President will then proceed to Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt on November 21, where the office said, he has been delegated by President, Lazarus Chakwera, to attend the 21st COMESA Heads of State and Government Summit slated for 23rd November 2021.
