Former United Transformation Movement (UTM) executive member and Director Youth Bon Kalindo has explained why he decide to leave the party vehicle at Dovic Hotel in Blantyre.

Yesterday, Kalindo broke the news that he has left the UTM party with immediate effect because it is party of an alliance that is failing to fulfil campaign promises made prior to June 23, 2020 fresh elections.

After his announcement of his resignation from the party, said that he will return every material belonging to UTM including a vehicle he was given as the Director of Youth.

To the surprise of many, Kalindo did not properly handover the car to the offices of UTM, instead he left it right at the Dovic Hotel where he was holding his press conference whilst leaving the car keys on the reception, a development left many with a lot to desire.

However, Kalindo said that he decided to leave the vehicle right at the hotel because he was fearing for his life.

According to Kalindo since he started his revolutionary move, he has been receiving threats.

The politician-cum comedian will hold protest against President Lazarus Chakwera on Friday, November 19, 2021 as a way of forcing the current administration to honor its campaign promises.
