Saif Gaddafi, son of former Libyan ruler Muammar Gaddafi has been disqualified from contesting for the country’s forthcoming election.
Saif Gaddafi was hoping to get the chance to step into the shoes of his late father to become the president of Libya but that dream is in jeopardy now.
Reports indicate he alongside 24 other candidates hoping to run for the election scheduled for December 24 were disqualified.
The son of Gaddafi was hoping to turn the situation around by appealing the decision to disqualify him but that also took another dramatic turn.
According to a report by Africa Fact Zone, Gunmen disrupted the appeal in court.
Muammar Gaddafi's son, Saif Gaddafi has been disqualified from running in Libya's President Election on December 24.
24 other Presidential Aspirants were also disqualified from the race.
He has appealed this decision. However, gunmen disrupted the appeal case in court.
