Lead organizer of the Malawi Sali Bwino demonstrations Bon Kalindo has warned government that he will not relent on holding Demonstrations despite government’s plans to engage the anti-government protests organizers.

Yesterday, government spokesperson Gospel Kazako revealed that government is planning on meeting people who are leading demonstrations in the country as they are not satisfied with the way government is running its affairs.

According to Kazako, the engagements will be done with an aim of hearing out the people who are conducting demonstrations and together they will find solutions and map way forward.

Kalindo has described the move as good news only if government is serious and not just giving false promises.

He then added that they cannot cancel their planned Mzuzu demos since they have not received any official communication from government on the dialogue proposal.

The Information Minister then added that soon government will announce dates for the engagement with the leaders.
