Some Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) led by Centre for Democracy and Economic Development Initiatives (CDEDI) have denounced a meeting held on Tuesday between Bon Kalindo and Tonse Alliance Cabinet Ministers.
Speaking during media briefing in the capital Lilongwe CDEDI Executive Director Sylvester Namiwa and Phunziro Mvula, of Social Revolution Movement, the organizations say Kalindo did not represent CSOs that organize demonstrations in the country.
Both Mvula and Kalindo described the yesterday meeting, as an insult to Malawians.
They have since asked government to fulfill campaign promises within 7 days, else they will conduct demonstrations in all districts of the country.
Kalindo is yet to comment on the matter.
Meanwhile, government has revised downwards the tollgate fees.
