What might appear to be a transparent recruitment of individuals to join the Malawi Police Service seems not to have gone down well with sons and daughters of officers within the service.
Earlier today, a group of youths camped within the Area 30 police headquarters showing anger after their names did not appear on the selection list.
National Police spokesperson, James Kadadzera confirmed of the development.
According to Kadadzera, the youths were advised to take heart as the recruitment process follows procedures.
A security and governance commentator Sherif Kaisi has condemned the act while citing that being affiliated to an officer is not a warrant for recruitment.
