Effah Donaldson, 34, and her 27-year-old wife Salome Oteku reportedly beat their 4-year-old daughter with a cane until she passed out.
They forced Francisca Etuteh, the deceased 4 year old to sit in hot water before punishing her for wetting the bed.
According to the Enchi District Police, the young girl’s arm was broken as a result of the abuse, which resulted to her death.
The unfortunate incident occurred a few days ago in Yakase, in the Western North Region’s Aowin Municipality.
ACP Henry Bacho, Enchi Police Divisional Commander, told Joynews that the couple brought their daughter to the Aowin Community Clinic, but she died while receiving treatment.
Following the death of the child, the scared couple decided to.wrap her body in leaves in order to jury her.
