Former Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) Director General Godfrey Itaye has been arrested.
The arrest comes hours after the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) issued Itaye’s warrant of arrest.
He is suspected of abusing his office when he allegedly offered employment to Mr. Daniel Datchi in 2018 as Revenue Assurance Manager yet he did not have necessary qualifications.
