A hacker has wreaked havoc on an online meeting for the Italian Senate after they played some very NSFW content.

Vice reports politicians had gathered on Zoom for the meeting, along with economics, sociology, information technology and communications experts and one Nobel Prize winner.

It was held at Palazzo Giustiniani and was titled ‘For a transparent PA, open data for the political decision-maker’.

But as they were having a discussion, someone got into the link and played 3D porn of Final Fantasy VII character Tifa Lockhart getting intimate with another character.

A member of the meeting who was actually invited was heard saying: “About the results of the medical and scientific research, together with their fast accessibility and their reliability…” before the adult content started playing.

You can only imagine the shock and horror on everyone’s faces when they saw the unrelated video playing on the main screen.

One of the event organisers said: “There’s a person that has snuck in-I apologise. If the other director please can help me kick out this person.”

A Senator also asked ‘What is this?’ as everyone scrambled to kick the hacker out.

The NSFW content only played for a few seconds before a home screen was cast onto the main image.

Italian politicians won’t rest until they find out who did this.

Senator Maria Laura Mantovani said they’ve reported the issue to the police, adding to local news outlet AdnKronos: “This afternoon there was a very serious episode, a real attack against which I express absolute disdain.

“During an online conference organised by me…someone broke in secretly by transmitting a video with pornographic content.

“I proceeded to report everything to the competent authorities so that they can proceed to identify the person responsible.

“The conference went to the end on a regular basis. Both speakers and audience continued as if nothing had happened.”

Ever since the coronavirus pandemic forced everyone onto video conference calls like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, there have been plenty of high-profile instances of porn being shown.

When Novak Djokovic’s visa hearing got underway in Australia earlier this month, someone managed to start playing similarly NSFW content to hundreds of people who had tuned in.

Organisers quickly abandoned the video link and started a new one where they could ensure the jokester couldn’t replicate their prank.
