Death has been announced Fletcher Waya, a father to Malawi’s Iconic Netball Queen Mary Waya.
According to reports Mr. Waya died in the wee hours of today in Mzuzu.
He will be laid to rest in Phalombe district which is his home village.
Mr. Fletcher Waya birthed a breed of Malawi’s sporting greats including football kingpin Lawrence Lule Waya and the late Harry Waya.
