A demand letter has been issued to Lloyd M’bwana, Journalist and Administrator of Maravi Post, by Lawyers of HRDC, Clarkes Attorney for lying that HRDC has given ACB Director, Martha Chizuma, 24 hours to resign as ACB Director.
On 23 January 2022, an article appeared on Maravi Post, an online publication where they claimed that ACB Director Martha Chizuma has breached the oath of secrecy and that HRDC has demanded that Chizuma should resign within 24hrs.
The HRDC has distanced themselves from the publication and have therefore through their lawyers, demanded that Mr Lloyd M’bwana should apologize within 24 hours.
The demand letter further states that failure to adhere to the apology demand, will leave HRDC with no option, but to Institute legal proceedings.
