Blantyre Chief Resident Magistrate’s Court will on 1st March 2022 rule on whether or not to commence criminal proceedings against Martha Chizuma, Director General of the Anti Corruption Bureau.

This follows an application by Forum for National Development (FND) for the court to summon Chizuma to answer criminal charges in relation to a leaked audio conversation between her and an unknown male person.

According to Gladys Gondwe, Registrar of the High Court and Supreme Court of Appeal said the court has already heard the application.

The Case is being presided over by Chief Resident Magistrate Jean Kaira.
