Public Affairs Committee (PAC), a religious body says it is still waiting for President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to act on the request to fire Chief Secretary to the Office of the President and Cabinet Zanga-zanga Chikhosi.
Last month, the religious body met President Chakwera where they requested him to dissolve his cabinet over corruption allegations and also fire Zanga-Zanga Chikhosi on grounds that he is involved in dubious deals.
Days after the meeting Chakwera dissolved the Cabinet but did not act on the SPC as requested by PAC during the meeting.
Speaking in an interview with the press today PAC spokesperson Clifford Matonga said the grouping is still waiting for Chakwera to act on the request.
Matonga said if the President has no problem with Chikhosi he should deploy him other government departments.
Effort to talk to State House Press Officer Anthony Kasunda proved futile.
