Manchester United star Paul Pogba has revealed that he lost his World Cup medal after his house was burgled last week.

Whilst United were dumped out of the Champions League by Atletico Madrid, Pogba’s house was broken into, and to make matters worse, his children were at home sleeping during the robbery. Thankfully no one was hurt, but it’s been a traumatic event for Pogba and his wife to deal with.

Pogba has now revealed the extent of their losses, with valuable items being stolen. But sentimental pieces were taken too, as the World Cup medal Pogba won with France in 2018 was missing after the robbery.

Pogba is now concentrating on international duties with the French national team, and has spoken to Le Figaro about the horrific incident that occurred back in England. In quotes which were revealed by GetFootballNewsFrance on Tuesday, the United star said: “I am ok, my family too.

“I had quite a surprising week. With the Champions League match where I learned that I am not going to play and, when I went home, I discovered that my home was robbed following the entry of three people who stole my safe.

“There was my mother’s jewellery in there, my World Cup medal. What scared me the most, is that my two children were at home with the nanny during the incident.
