A 2019 independent presidential hopeful Reverend Hadwick Kaliya has joined the Malawi Congress Party (MCP).
Kaliya was welcomed by President Lazarus Chakwera at a rally in Luchenza primary School Ground Luchenza Municipality after conducting crop inspection in Thyolo.
Chakwera has also welcomed two councilors into MCP.
