American pop star and entrepreneur, Rihanna has made her first appearance on Forbes’ annual billionaires list.

According to a publication by the Forbes, the 34-year-old worth a cool Ksh.197 billion ($1.7 billion), attributing most of her wealth to her successful business ventures and beauty. Her music adds up to the least stake.

RiRi’s stake in her Fenty Beauty—the fastest-growing cosmetics line—makes up the majority of her wealth.

The company, which she co-owns with luxury conglomerate LVMH, reportedly racked in more than Ksh.63.3 billion ($550 million) in revenue in 2020.

She also has a 30 percent stake in her Savage x Fenty lingerie line, which raised approximately Ksh.13.2 billion ($115 million) in series B funding at a Ksh.115.1 billion ($1 billion) valuation in early 2021.

The “Work” hit maker who is also expecting a baby with lover A$AP Rocky, has now reportedly been rated as the first billionaire to originate from Barbados, her home town.

She ranks at number #1,729 on the billionaire starred list, joining other entertainment bigwigs, among them Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and Jay-Z.

Kim sits at number #1,645, Kanye ‘Ye’ ranks at #1,513 and Jay-Z at #2,076.
