Police at Jenda have arrested four people for allegedly being found with two bags of cannabis sativa popularly known as Chamba.
Jenda police spokesperson Alfred Lucio said three of the suspects , Kondwani Mwanuka aged 27, Patrick Mponda aged 38 and Juliana Ngulube whose age has not been ascertained were found with a 50 kg bag of chamba at Kathundu on the Mzimba Lilongwe M1 road while the other identified as Felix Nkhata aged 27 was found with 45 KGs of Chamba which he was keeping in his house.
The suspects are expected to appear in court soon to answer possession of illicit drug charges.
