American professional boxer Mike Tyson has got social media buzzing after he was caught on camera punching  a passenger in a plane.

The former heavyweight champion was aboard a JetBlue plane and was  waiting for a flight to depart from San Francisco International Airport on Wednesday when the altercation happened.

Prior to the incident, the unidentified overly excited passenger took a selfie with the boxer and everything was cool between them.

However, moments later, the unsettled passenger can be seen in the video repeatedly gesturing towards Mike Tyson.

According to witnesses, Mike Tyson told the passenger to settle down, but the passenger kept on pestering him.

Mike Tyson reportedly lost his cool, leaned over the back of his seat and started throwing a flurry of punches down at the passenger.

According to TMZ, Mike Tyson walked off the plane seconds later.

The bloodied passenger managed to  receive medical attention and spoke to police about the incident.

Meanwhile, sources close to Mike Tyson claim the passenger was extremely intoxicated and wouldn’t stop provoking the boxer in his seat.
