President of the Democratic Republic of Congo ( DRC) Felix Antonio Tshisekedi, has honoured Belgian actor Jean- Claude Camille Francois Van Varenberg known professionally as Jean-Claude Van Damme, with titles of an Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo for the Environment.
According to what the actor has posted on his Facebook page, it includes the protection of the animal kingdom), an Ambassador of the Radiance of the Youth, Sports & Culture and also an Ambassador of Insight Investments of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
“My sectors as investors are all Asia, the Middle East and North America,” he said.
The star then thanked President Tshisekedi for trusting him with a huge task ahead.
Van Damme was born on October 18th, 1960 in Brussels, Belgium but with the desire of becoming an actor, he moved to the United States in 1982, where he did odd jobs and worked on several films, until he got his break as the lead in the martial arts film Bloodsport in 1988.
