Popular Ugandan artist and former MP for Kyadondo Bobi Wine slammed President Yoweri Museveni’s son Muhoozi Kainerugaba over what he termed as considering Uganda as his father’s property.

This is after Muhoozi mocked him in a tweet. He shared a cartoon illustration of him and Bobby arguing over who can fit Museveni’s shoe.

The illustration was drawn by an artist identified as Kintu and Muhoozi went ahead to thank him while referring to him as the best artist in Uganda.

“Me and my young brother Kabobi arguing over who can fill my father’s shoes! Thanks to the best artist in Uganda…Kintu!”Muhoozi captioned the illustration.

In the illustration, Bobby argued that Museveni’s shoe( which obviously represented the office of the president) was his size. On the other hand, Muhoozi said that that was his genes.

An angered Bobby however responded to the tweet saying that he is not competing with him for his father’s shoes.

“I am not your brother and I’m not competing for your father’s shoes. You’re entitled to M7’s shoes, cows, and even his hat. One mistake you make is to think that Uganda is one of your father’s properties for you to inherit,” Bobby said on Twitter.

Muhoozi, who is believed to be eyeing Uganda’s presidency,  resigned as the Military commander in March this year after 28 years of service. He doubled up as the land forces of the Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) and as the Presidential Adviser.

His resignation was seen as a preparation to join politics and succeed his father.
