Sugar Prices Rise

Illovo Sugar Malawi Plc has adjusted upwards the prices of sugar
A statement issued by the entity indicates that a one-kilogram packet of brown sugar will now retail at a recommended price of K1,100 and a 1kg packet of white sugar will now be sold at K1,155.
This comes days after the Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM) announced a 25 percent devaluation of the Malawi Kwacha.
