A suspect who bolted from Nkhotakota Police Station has been recaptured, few minutes after he escaped.
Nkhotakota Police spokesperson Paul Malimwe confirmed of the development in an interview with the press on Friday.
According to Malimwe, the suspect identified as Hamdan James was re-arrested within the police compound.
He has since been charged with the offense of escaping lawful arrest.
