It has been the testimony of several diaspora women who became pregnant while on holiday in Ghana.

Women from the diaspora have posted images of their baby bumps and pregnancy stories online.

They’ve known each other for almost seven years, and the fact that they all became pregnant around the same time after relocating to Canada surprised them.

We were SHOCKED Friends over 7 years moved to Ghana Now about to be in motherhood together LOVE YOU SIS CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU TOO,” she wrote.

Two of the expectant ladies were friends of Wode Maye, Ghana’s most-followed YouTuber, and travel influencer, who shared their pregnancy journey.

According to Wode Maya’s tweets, roughly five of the ladies have taken seed in Ghana.

He titled his post: “Big ups to my Ghanaian brother’s cos my diaspora sisters moved to Ghana & they are all pregnant“.
