Well-known social commentator Joshua Chisa Mbele who is also member of the United Transformation Movement (UTM) suspect foul play in the robbery incident which occurred at the house of for Secretary to President and Cabinet (SPC) Zanga-zanga Chikhosi.

According to information at hand, the suspected thieves have gone away with laptops, phones and some files.

The incident comes barely a week after being fired from State House.

Writing on his official facebook page Joshua Chisa Mbele has questioned the robbery incident.

“Former SPC has lost all his information.

“Laptops. Phones. Files.

“This is the man who micromanaged the looted MK 30 billion for Covid. He single-handedly managed public works projects. He controlled PPDA. He sat on all statutory corporations boards that indulged in wasteful expenditures.

“Two days after being removed from his office, all his information has been stolen,” wrote Chisa Mbele.

He added: “Why was he keeping State Files at his house? In this Winter, poverty-stricken burglars of Lilongwe would successfully break into his house, evading the security ONLY and ONLY to steal information?

“Kodi mukamapita kogona where do you leave your cellphone? In the fridge, on kitchen counters or in the corridors?

“Very soon everyone on Sattar list will report burglary and loss of gadgets.

“Few weeks ago the State House, it is alleged to have lost a truckload, full Tanker of fuel. Truck kumera mapiko.

“This Malawi of mine yomuyankhulitsa Mkhrisitu pambali.”

Meanwhile, police are yet to comment on the robbery incident.
