The Chewa Heritage Foundation (Chefo) has fired Hip Hop artist Tay Grin as it’s ambassador.
The cultural grouping revealed this during a media briefing in Blantyre on Monday.
The grouping also said Tay Grin is also not an ambassador of the fundraising event dubbed ‘Mkumano wa Achewa’.
Chefo has since dissolved an organising committee which struck a deal with Tay Grin based on failure to consult on its decisions.
The ‘Mkumano wa Achewa’ event has also been shifted to July 9 as opposed to June 25, 2025.
