Police in Zambia are keeping in custody at five students from Kabwe College of Health Sciences for allegedly cheating during examinations the college is currently administering.

Zambia’s Central Province acting commissioner of police Dennis Moola confirmed the arrests of the student adding that the college’s Director of Finance Hope Kayowa is also in their custody.

The reports say the student were found with answers to questions yet to be administered and Kuyowa had the answers in of the examinations on her mobile phone.

According to Moola the first student to be arrested was John Bwalya, 24, last Wednesday after the invigilator, Penelope Machona, found him with answers during exams.

After police instituted investigations, Vera Chibi, 34, Comfort Muma Mpundu, 22, Mary Mulenga, 22, Elizabeth Chanshi, 27, Abigail Kaseba, 23, and Ms Kayowa were arrested.
