President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has asked the newly promoted Judges of the Supreme Court of Appeal to be courageous and use the constitution when discharging their duties in order not to be moved.

The president made the remarks during the sworn in ceremony of the newly appointed justices of the Supreme Court of Appeal at Kamuzu palace in Lilongwe.

Chakwera has described the work of the Supreme courts as a path way of showing people justice in the right way.

“I will never come between your job for as long as iam president of this country, and I will never make any decision which is against the judiciary,” Chakwera explained.

The President appointed justices Sylvester Kalembera, Dingiswayo Madise, Rowland Mbvundula and Dorothy NyaKaunda Kamanga on June 10, 2022.
