On Sunday afternoon, former president Peter Mutharika made a shocking revelation regarding the death of his brother Bingu Wa Mutharika who also served as the country’s third president.
Speaking to the press from his Paige House in Mangochi, the 82 year old alleged that his brother was poisoned through his wine and that he knows the people who did that.
According to Mutharika, Bingu’s wine was poisoned somewhere around 8 in the morning and he died two hours later.
Despite being the president of the country for six years, Mutharika never brought the alleged culprits to law for killing his brother.
However, Mutharika said he is not planning on opening a case against the people because according to him it will not yield anything.
Bingu died in 2012 from cardiac arrest according to medical reports after serving the country for eight years.
