President Lazarus Chakwera will physically attend this year’s United Nations General Assembly scheduled for the September 13 to 27, 2022.
Since assuming the highest office in 2020 Chakwera has never physically attended the high level summit in his capacity as president due to Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.
Presidential Press Secretary, Anthony Kasunda says with vaccines available to all delegates, the United Nations has invited Heads of State to attend in person.
