Man arrested for killing his friend over his failed trip to South Africa

Police in Mwanza have arrested 28-year-old Dive Ozias for allegedly killing Davie Kwapulani, 28, for failing to take him to South Africa.
Mwanza Police Deputy Publicist, Hope Kasakula said Ozias gave K200, 000 to Kwapulani who was a well-known transporter to take him to the Rainbow Nation but failed to do so.
Kasakula said on August 2, 2022, Ozias hired Kwapulani on his motor cycle to take him to his home at Ntasa village.
Upon reaching his home, he hit the deceased on his head with a hoe handle and buried his body in the ground.
