United Transformation Movement (UTM) Director of Security Louis Ngalande has asked the State Vice President to pull out of the Tonse Alliance.

Ngalande made the call on Sunday durin a rally the party held at Nyambadwe Community Ground in the commercial capital Blantyre.

In his speech, Ngalande cited the insults UTM members are receiving from some partners who are in Tonse Alliance led by President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.

“There is so much disrespect for our party president by some supporters of other alliance members. However, as a party we decide not to fight back because that is not who we are,” said Ngalande.

He went further asking the top officials to explain to supporters on whether alliance is still there or not.

Reacting to the development, UTM Vice President Michael Usi said everything is intact and that people should not be worried about the alliance.

Meanwhile, Chilima is yet to comment on the calls.
