The Ministry of Education through the Malawi Education Reform Programme has employed 4, 124 temporary teachers for only one academic year.
Auxiliary Teachers drawn from the Initial Primary Teacher Education (IPTE) cohort 13 and part of the IPTE cohort 14 will be placed in different public primary schools.
The opportunity will last for one academic year (2022/23) and with the availability of funding opportunities.
Those who are to take up this temporary position are expected to report at their workstations before 21st October 2022.
The list of the temporary teachers have been assign to all District Education offices, Local Council offices, and Primary Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs).
The offer of temporary contract is there to reduce the more work that the teachers are having in different schools in the country.
