The Tonse Alliance government has cancelled a press briefing on Affordable Inputs Programme (AIP) which was to take place in Lilongwe today.

An official from Ministry of Information has just communicated to journalists a short while ago about the postponement.

Ministers Gospel Kazako , Lobin Lowe and Sam Kawale were expected to shed more light on developments surrounding preparations of the programme.

The programme has been locked in controversies including allegations that government has been duped in a fertiliser deal with a UK based company which pocketed K750 million but failed to supply 25,000 metric tonnes of the commodity.
