The Malawi leader Lazarus Chakwera is expected to address the nation on matters of nation interested on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022 at Kamuzu Palace in the capital Lilongwe.

The address comes after almost four months since the head of state addressed the nation regarding a report on corruption by the country’s Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in which Chakwera suspended, fired and took powers from people believed to be involved in corruption activities in reference to the ACB report.

Of late, social media platforms, media houses and civil society organizations are disturbed with massive plundering of money by the Tonse alliance led government.

Just over the weeks, the country was on fire regarding the Affordable Input Program (AIP) which happens to be one of President Chakwera’s main topic of the address.

However it is unclear if the president will relieve the minister of Agriculture from his duties as he promised last year or not.

Malawians are also expecting president Lazarus Chakwera to tell them how he is planning to bring the economic situation back on its track as well as what he is doing to fight corruption, among others.
