President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera will next week travel to Egypt for official visits.

Minister of Natural Resources and Climate Change Eisenhower Mkaka disclosed this on Tuesday during a media briefing held in the capital Lilongwe.

According to Mkaka, Chakwera will lead Malawi delegation to this year’s 27th Conference of Parties (COP27) which starts on November 6, 2022 to November 18, 2022 in the Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh.

Chakwera’s trip comes amid economic crisis in the country.
