Information reaching us indicates there tension in Kasungu town this morning as there are protests against foreigners following reports that one of the suspects connected to the Standard Bank robbery Wednesday night is a non Malawian.
The robbery resulted to the death of a 60 year old guard as he was murdered by the robbers.
Meanwhile, most shops are closed as the protestors are reportedly planning to attack businesses for non Malawians.
Police are yet to comment on the matter.
