Unknown people have stolen a car on Friday night along Kamba road in Blantyre as the owner as on a quest to seek fuel.

According to reports, the victim was on his way to pump fuel at PUMA after hearing that the fuel tanker is at the said filling station.

As he was on a queue heading to the filling station, he bumped into the thugs who forced him out of his car and drove off leaving him stranded.

For the past weeks, the country has been experiencing fuel crisis due to lack of forex making it difficult for Malawi Energy regulatory Authority (MERA) to purchase fuel.

However, government has assured the populace that this week, the fuel situation will be stabilized.
