Former National Oil Company of Malawi (NOCMA) Deputy Chief Executive Officer Helen Buluma has accused Minister of Information and Digitalization Gospel Kazako and some government officials of planning to deal with her.

The accusations follow Buluma’s resignation where she accused of undue pressure from the Chief Secretary to the Office of the President and Cabinet Colleen Zamba.

Few minutes later, NOCMA board released a statement indicating that Buluma was fired from her posts.

This has attracted confusion among Malawians with many demanding an explanation on the matter. Due to this vacuum, Tonse Alliance through Minister of Information organized a media briefing to clarify the missing information on the matter.

But in her response Buluma has accused the state of planning to deal with her.
