A 35 year old man Jonathan Major Mwandira has been struck to death by lightening in Neno following heavy rains that fell yesterday in the district.
Neno district council disaster desk officer Brighton Mphinga and Neno police officer-In Charge Hanleck Chingolo have confirmed the development.
According to reports, Mwandira met his fate when he went to cut timber in company of other four members.
More houses have also been destroyed in the area of Senior Chief Symon.
The disaster officer has since appealed for support.
