After long hours of being questioned by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in connection to corruption investigations linked to United Kingdom-based businessperson Zuneth Sattar., the country’s vice president has been taken to court to be formally charged.

Meanwhile, the voice president is waiting for his turn to be formally charged since the Chief resident magistrate whom Chilima is supposed to take plea from is handling a case involving the country’s former president Peter Mutharika stepson Tadikira Mutharika who is answering human trafficking charges.

At the moment, Chilima has been allowed to enter into the court room for security reasons.

Below is the pictorial focus of Chilima’s court appearance.
