Angry villagers in Chadzunda, Blantyre yesterday set on fire two suspected thieves.
Spokesperson for Blantyre Police, Peter Mchiza confirmed the development.
According to reports, the two men after they were caught, were brought before group village headman’s court yard.
As the group village headman was questioning the suspected thieves, the crowd lost it and overpowered the chief and took the matter in their hands.
They ended up setting the suspected thieves on fire.
Police arrived at the scene today, so far no one has been arrested.
