Health rights activist Maziko Matemba has advised government to add behavior change to the interventions it is using to fight against Malaria.

Matemba said adding behavior change would help the country in fighting against malaria disease.

He was reacting to government’s announcement that the country has reduced malaria mortality rate by 50%, from 23 deaths per 100, 000 in 2016 to 12 per 100, 000 in 2021.
