This morning, police in Lilongwe have arrested the Director of Ant-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Martha Chizuma.
National Police Spokes person Peter Kalaya confirmed the development but refused to give more details.
But reports indicate that the arrest is in relation with the audio clip that went viral on social media where Chizuma was discussing matters of the bureau to a third party.
Following her arrest, Malawians have shared different views other suggesting that it is political move while other saying if she has to face her fate if she is really wrong.

Bright Msaka said, I am utterly outraged by the Government’s arrest of the ACB Director General, Martha Chizuma, on the flimsiest of excuses. It is asinine to attempt to forestall her planned arrests of political big guns in MCP by arresting her first. Now public and international interest has been aroused beyond measure. As someone recently said, this is like trying to conceal diarrhoea by stitching the anus.The loud rumbling in the interior will reveal all.
