Malawi’s Minister of Justice Titus Mvalo said the embattled director general of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Martha Chizuma will continue her job as before.
Mvalo said this yesterday in Parliament during a debate on the arrest of Chizuma.
According to Mvalo, now that all charges against the graft-bursting body boss have been dropped, Chizuma will go back to work like before.
He also indicated that they will include all involved police officers as third party of the case so that incase Chizuma sues for being arrested on petty issue, they will be responsible to foot all bills.
Chizuma was arrested yesterday at her house around 4 am over a leaked audio clip in which Chizuma was discussing work related matters to unknown individual.
There are also reports of abuse from the time of her arrest and the time she was detained at Namitete police station.
